Dynamics of a single element
Ahoi thinkers!

I have a question about wave dynamic of a single element that isn't on the amplitude. Lets pick sodium for example.
What is the difference between Sodium and Chlorine when they always appear together as equal and opposite partners?
Same question but from another angle would be: How is it possible that a chunk of Sodium exists when the dynamic of the wave always forms pairs of equal and opposite partners?
